Plop at Highlight Gallery
Plop, an exhibition by Kaamos Group, continues the series of events held at the Highlight Valaistus Gallery. The designers Matti Syrjälä, Anna Palomaa, Katriina Nuutinen, Vesa Kattelus and Erik Bertell are no strangers to international design events. The Plop exhibition, showing now, is a fresh collection of necessary everyday domestic objects seen in a new and insightful way. The products show respect for handicrafts and understanding of industrial production.

Exhibition at Formex Fair in Stockholm, Sweden
Kaamos has been selected to be a part of Finnish Design exhibition at Formex Fair called "Finland selected by Formex", Stockholm in the end of August. The group is exhibiting their newest design together with Iittala, Tonfisk, Com-pa-ny, Doctor Design, Harri Koskinen and Pentagon Design to mention a few.

Exhibition at Gas glass conference, Glass Art Society, Corning NY and
Salmagundi American Art Club, 47 Fifth Avenue, NYC
Two members of Kaamos, Katriina Nuutinen and Vesa Kattelus have taking a part to group exhibitions in USA, New York during the June 2009. The student exhibition at Gas glass conference in Corning NY was succesfull to the group. The group got second place with their work called Breaking the Aquarium, Finnish Drinking Culture. The group had also one night, event type of exhibition at Manhattan NYC at Salmagundi American Art Club, co-operation with Finnish Cultural Institut.

The Stockholm Furniture Fair 2009
Kaamos will attend the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2009. The group will host a stand at the Greenhouse Department. Greenhouse is the special section for selected international design schools and newly-qualified designers.
